Benjamin is the founder of Sports City London and the Sports City Foundation Charity. He continues to support significant role models and extraordinary young people that have displayed innovation and commitment to their community, with the aim to inspire the next generation of young leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs.
His commitment, hard work, and persistent drive to create limitless opportunities for young people is evident throughout the communities he engages, changing lives and inspiring a legacy through sport. He has been identified as a 'rising star' in the 2015 Power List - 100 of the most influential people of African and African Caribbean heritage in the UK, shortlisted for the Diversity Champion Award for Education at the Excellence in Diversity Awards 2016, runner-up for Innovation & Enterprise Award at the Lambeth Community Pride Awards 2016, and Entrepreneur Rising Star finalist at the 2017 Black British Business Awards. His recent honours include winning the Institute of Directors (IoD) Director of The Year 2018 Award (London & South region) for services to the public/third sector.
